Is Religion Good or Bad?

 After watching the video "Is Religion Good or Bad", I immediately thought of the book reading that we had on the reasons why people want to belong. I still think that people are conditioned to follow that they are taught, how they grow up and who to listen too, mostly their parents or guardians. If everything we believe, follow and worship tells us to "take a hike", then most likely we might follow this action. Especially if we see other that believe doing it.





Religion in itself can be good or bad, but then again it is what you believe that is the main point. I would not want someone talking or writing something bad about Christians or Christ, but if they were trained or told all their lives that "Christianity is bad" I am sure they can come up with good examples on why. The same would go for me if I knew f someone that, for example, worshipped a tree. I would find it perplexing but I know people all over are not perfect and certain religions have rules or regulations that don't make sense. At least to me. But then again some things have been accepted throughout the ages and will never end. they might change to a certain degree.
